Yes, that sour ripping is just terrible. I won't even bother flaming the rest of your post, maybe you'll figure out how stupid it is on your own.

I know, sometimes these guys get really abusive to. It's kind of annoying to have someone PM you and harass you for five minutes and then tell me to go F myself becuase I didn't buy their wares...

If they were actual "gold" sellers that would probably make more sense. About 3 weeks ago I was in Ascalon helping a guild member with missions. While I was standing in town I got a pm from one guy asking if I wanted to buy gold. Naturally I just ignored him. All the sudden he starts saying stuff like "your order is ready" and "your order will be here shortly". After that I switched districts and it stopped. Then I got the same thing again from some other guy.

I've been back a few times since then and it hasn't happened again. It was weird though.

Lol. I would've waited until he said your order is here and taken the gold.

yes, but there's a part of truth in what he said too

gold sellers now have less gold for sale, but they increased their prices, in the end nothing changed for them

it just made things harder for others with ectos worth 5k

I honestly didn't realize that's what they were doing selling unids. I bought a few as a gamble, got a few good mods. Guess I won't be doing that any more. One question, do I risk a ban for buying some from them?

I played before ANet started making the changes and I can state emphatically that getting rid of the Botting and fighting the e-bay gold sellers is improving the game. Can I afford huge amounts of high-end items no, nor am I likely to ever see them since ANet has moved them all to HM only. But I can buy weapons and armor that is half-way acceptable with only a few hundred hours effort (so far) instead of expecting to never be able to do it at all.

As an Elementalist with no access to upper end Factions or any Nightfall skills I can take 1-2 HM Earth Elementals or 1 HM Grawl warrior. Unless I accidentally happen to find a max mods for making wpn, or perfect wpn and foci I will never have what I need to farm. (Which I find boring to begin with, it is merely something forced on players if they seek to get anything decent in armor and characterization.)

ANet didn't nerf farming they attacked botting and they set it so you can't farm with skills from just one campaign - hence you need to buy all of their stuff if you want to do anything.

I did see what looked like a lot of bots in Granite Citadel.

You people do know you can trick the bots into giving you free golds some time Depending on how the bots coded you can do one of many tricks to get em to hit accept. Or if you find a farming bot you can try to trick it to party you, which they do some times. So next time when you see a obvious group of bots just try to get some trade em and get free items, or try to tag along on some of there runs and steal some items
